HOOK: Streamer Hook 2 - 8
Cone: Orvis Aluminum anodized
Thread: Uni 8/0 match top color
Body: Two different colored Zonker Strips and matching Flashabou
Stinger Hook: Scud 8 - 12
Collar: Matching Marabou, Guinea, Mallard, tied in Gartside style
Stinger hook is attached to a piece of mono with a Surgeon's loop (for free
movement) The mono is then threaded on a needle. Hold both pieces of Zonker and
stitch the mono through both pieces of zonker (1" to 2" length of zonker
stitched)
Then stick the point of the streamer hook through the bottom zonker strip right
next to stitch. Place a layer of thread on the streamer hook leaving bobbin at
the bend (for ribbing) Pull both pieces of zonker over entire streamer hook
shank, then rib with thread to eye. Tie off then add top section of a marabou
feather and wrap soft hackle. Whip finish
Irish Twins

Hook: Daiichi Swim Hook #1770 size 12
Bead: 1/8" Gold
Rib: Thin Gold Wire
Body: Kelly Green Flashabou
Collar: Peacock
Tag: Red Floss
Put both beads on first. Start thread at the bend of hook. Add floss and make a
small tag. Add gold wire and a couple of stands of flashabou. Wrap flashabou 1/4
way up hook and then rib in opposite direction. Tie both off and add peacock
(about three turns) build up thread head and slide bead over it (I use Zap-A-Gap
on thread before I slide the bead over) Build thread up in front of bead and
whip finish. Move slightly up hook and repeat.
